| ![]() I noticed that you give Toby chicken chips for treats. I use to give them to my Chipper and they would make him sick with loose stools. I fed him the chicken chips for quite a few months before he showed any problems. My vet thought he had a food allergy so we started to eliminate things that were in his diet. That's how we figured out it was the chicken chips.

![]() Hi, Sounds like a smart little guy to me. At least he's going to a door. Where in CT are you? I'm in Naugatuck with a rescued 2 1/2 yr old.

![]() Thanks, he seems really smart. I just don't speak his language. I'm trying to use basic commands and hand signals with him til we get on the same page. He came to me housebroken out doors and let me know he had to go out by sitting at the door and barking. I went upstairs and he followed me up and kept barking. I took him out and he got busy. That's why I am having a hard time figuring this out!

![]() I was lucky to get Perkins in the middle of June so I was able to walk him a lot more than I can now. Like you, I have no idea of his former training. It's funny.. but about once a month he will wake me in the middle of the nite to go out. Normally he holds it until morning. It's nice to know that instead of just going ... which could be on my bed since he sleeps with me.. that he will wake me to take him out. I know that it took me a few months of a super regular schedule to know his bathroom times. Now it's pretty much like clockwork.

![]() Yeah, we were like clockwork to, 'til 2 weeks ago when the s$#& hit the fan... pun intended! I guess I'm lucky that I'm so ocd in remembering dumb stuff. I'm reconstructing every thing that has gone in his mouth for the last 3 weeks.
