| ![]() Hello i am new to this site and a first-time owner of a yorkie. The problem i am having with my 10-month old yorkie name Yumi is that she is holding herself from not going to the bathroom for hours and i am really concerned. This has been happening ever since she got her first period last month and when she finally does go to the bathroom, she does not go on the pad, she goes right outside of it. I have tried pushing her to go to the bathroom, putting her in a small gated area inside the house and i have stayed with her until she would go to the bathroom but it doesn't seem to work. Before Yumi has even gotten her period she was doing very well with potty training she would most of the time go on the pad and now i am having a very hard time with her holding herself from not going to the bathroom for hours and not using the pad...i need some help and advice(s) on what to do with this situation. I would gladly appreciate it ![]()
