| ![]() Chip is great when he's with us, but when we leave the house, or clean extensively (like spring cleaning), we put both him and Smokey upstairs in our room. Chip will bark and howl like crazy... then if we come home and don't let them out the very second we open the door, they both start barking. Anything we can do?

| ![]() i hope someone has an answer! jackson is the same way. he's completely fine if i'm in the room with him or someone is.. even if he could care less about me and is chewing his bone or something... as long as i'm near him he's fine. the minute i walk out of the room to even go pee or something... he just YAPS like crazy! if i'm still in the house, i usually leave him gated in my bedroom. sometimes, if i'm watching him like a hawk, i'll let him follow me around the house a little bit but that requires my full attention. and whenever i leave, he stays in his xpen (got him that instead, thinking he wouldn't bark as much as he does in the crate... wrong) with toys, blankets, etc but he just BARKS. it could go on for an hour, lol. ahh sorry i cant help!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() Pixie barks every time I get up and if Maya wants anything. Her bark is the most high pitched awful bark. I have tried spray bottle of water, coins in a can, a clicker and now I am using a kids whistle. Nothing is really working. I hope someone has some ideas.

| ![]() when roxy started whining and barking i just turned off the lights and left the room until she stopped and then entered the room and if she was quiet i would say a command, for instance sit, and if she complied I would prays her and take her out to play. However it would usually take about an hour of me continuously entering the room and leaving the room before she realized why i was leaving her and after a few weeks of me doing that she stopped and now she rarely makes a peep. |
