Wierd Behavior! Tear Licking? - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Ok This is really weird I have never seen this in any other dogs before. My Yorkies love to lick my other dogs tears.

Well Bridgette does it to the cat every time she sees him, but Teddy does it to every dog, (and the cat) i have. I have 5 other besides him and every other dog that he ever meets. Especially when they have a build up. He'll lick over and over non stop for days. I don't get it and it's just so gross. And then he'll want to come up and lick me.

I try and wipe all my dogs faces (especially Harley) every morning but sometimes I forget. But then along comes Teddy to lick it clean. It just grosses me out.

Why is he doing this? Has anyone else ever seen this before? How can I stop it!

All three of mine groom each other just like cats! Sorry I'm no help

Mine do the same thing. They even use their teeth to groom the boogers (sorry) out of the corners. I'm always cleaning eyes etc. but my one girl's eyes are constants. Elaine
