| He is only marking MY room???? Austin just turned a year old and is not neutered (we will be breeding him in the next couple of months hopefully). He potty trained pretty easily (about a month after he was home) and when he was 6 or 7 months old we installed a doggy door. My fiancee and I live in a 3 bedroom house, with one bedroom being ours, one room being an office and the third room being a guest room/my room where I keep all my STUFF. So for the last 3 months he has NEVER had an accident inside the house EXCEPT he marks his territory in MY room when I am in there. He doesn't do this anywhere else. My fiancee jokes around saying that I am HIS girlfriend or bitch and thats why he pees in my room. Could this be true? And if so, what should I do? We also have another male dog and so I am the only female in the house.

| Invest in belly band. Generally, I would say get him neutered and see if it will help. But since you intend to bred him, it will not happen. Also in many cases, males that are bred tends to mark even more and there is no other solution other than to place a bellyband on them. |

| I would also keep the door to that room closed when you are not there. It is very possible that he is being possessive of you. |

| The more I observe my lil guy the more I think he IS being possessive. If my fiancee and I are sitting together he MUST sit with us-preferably on my lap and if my fiancee kisses me, Austin leaps up and gives me more kisses than my fiancee gives and then turns to my fiancee and HUFFS at him. I wonder why he is so much more possessive of me rather than my fiancee? We give him equal playtime, etc. He has never growled at him or anything-he just always has to outdue anything my fiancee does. Basically anything my fiancee can do, Austin can do better! * The door is kept closed but when I go in there, he sneaks in with me. Sneaky sneaky guy. The problem is that when we have guests, they will leave the door open and he seizes the opportunity to mark his territory!
