| Asia runs away! What can I do to stop it? My adorable little Asia is a runner! She walks fine on a leash and doesn't lunge at the door if my husband or I walk in and out of the house. However if anyone else opens the door... she bolts for it and we have to catch her! It has become this paranoia of saying "Wait... where's Asia? Let me grab her before you answer the door!" or saying "Did you lock the door?" anytime anyone comes in or leave the house! I am afraid of anyone opening the door! Holidays and family gatherings are nightmares. I often end up putting her on a leash so she and I can breathe easier. The other day someone knocked and as I peeked to see who it was... she was gone! It took my husband and I about 20 agonizing minutes to catch her! She's fast and what's worse is that she crosses the streets now! Asia will turn one year in about two weeks. What can I do to detour this behavior because it truly worries me!

The light weight string is good for the indoor thing too just put it on her and let it dangle and when someone comes to the door step on the end of it and let her try and lunge out the door. This way she doesnt think she has a leash on. Then you can corect her for not staying. Sorry so long but I hope this helps!!
