| ![]() I have two yorkies both bother and sister (Rocco&Roxie) I bought them together at 9 weeks old and moved them with me into a condo where they learned the whole idea of potty training on a pad on the balcony outside. Once we moved into another condo, they lost it all. Mostly the male who is fixed. He pee's everywhere. The couple that lived in the condo before had a puppy for about 2weeks. I have to constantly watch him. The moment I walk out of the room, he pee's accidentally on the rug or . I always have a pee pee pad inside. During the day when we're at work, I keep them in a huge kennel cage that opens out to the balcony from a door so that they can go potty and poo poo outside on the balcony floor or pee pee pad. They sleep inside the kennel and play outside on the balcony. I keep the kennel cage sticking from the inside of are room to the outside balcony so that they feel like there still inside the house. My boyfriends parents came to visit for 3 weeks and the problem got worse. I think they keep a lot of accidents to themselves, for example, I came home from work one night and his parent's where sitting on the couch and had mention to me that of course Rocco had an accident on the couch. Rocco has never peed on the couch!!!!I was shocked!!! I asked where on the couch and they said he only peed on the blanket that was spread over the couch. They had put the blanket in the washing machine. So again I asked "So rocco didn't pee on the couch"? They again said NO! So an hour goes by and all of a sudden I hear my boyfriend's dad saying "No Rocco"! Rocco lifted his leg and peed on my boyfriends father all over his pants. It was kind of funny but still shocking. The pee had gotten on my couch pillow so I picked it up and flipped it over only to see a big round pee stain from earlier that day. They tried to cover it up and flip the pillow over so that I couldn't see the stain. I figured out why Rocco peed on his dad who was sitting over the flipped pillow. The scent of the pee was on the pillow so he peed there again. Can you believe this??? Ever since, Rocco has not been the same. How can I retrain him all over again. It seems like he only likes to go outside but it's too cold so I put pee pads around the house. Once in awhile he will be on the pads. Please help. Rocco is now 1 years old Melissa |

| ![]() melissasue: Welcome to YorkieTalk! Sorry to hear about Rocco's problems. Have you considered an obedience class or any of those training books? Perhaps he needs to start crate training all over again? |
