| ![]() Is he okay with the crate? If so, I would just put him in the crate at night before you sleep. If you are afraid of him choking on shredded paper may I suggest getting a crate pad or putting a towel or old clothing in the crate for him to sleep on. He may cry for the first few night and if he does, you can't give in and take him out or else his crying/barking will get worse. |

| ![]() I noticed that my Samson would lie on my housecoat when I was showering. So I moved my housecoat to his crate and he went in and went right to sleep. Of course I lost my favorite housecoat! But it was worth it. I have since removed the housecoat and replaced it with a furry mat. It may be worth a try. Sue and Samson |
