| 2 tricks that work for me with Bernie (my gate jumper) 1. Try an ex-pen instead of a gate, AND put him in the pen through the "door", never over the top. For some reason that works 2. We made our own solid wooden (freestanding) gate. There is nothing for him to grab ahold of, and it wobbles when he bumps it (although there is no way it would fall...just don't tell him, I think the wobbling is what keeps him off of it) Good luck!

| Sounds like Buddy when he was a puppy. Amazing how high they can jump but they could also injure their legs. I finally went out and bought a second gate and stacked one on the other. It looked like a pit bull was in the kitchen instead of a little Yorkie. LOL but it kept him in there all day and no more greeting me at the door when I got home until he was trained. |
