Second thing is you should try what "It's me or the dog" trainer advises on tv. When you walk with your dog and if there is another dog coming towards you, the sec your dog gets angry or aggressive you walk in the other direction. You have to be consistent and do this often. Every time he barks or gets over excited by another dog you walk in the other direction and once he calms down you can walk towards the dogs. You could ask a friend who has a dog to practice this with you.

okay, i will try that. thanks! but in the situation where i put him in the crate, what do you think I should have done then? we were at home in front of the house instead of on a walk.
