![]() ![]() I think you will be suprised at how well she does after her spay. When I picked up Pebbles, she was so happy to see me. It made me nervous that she was jumping all over the place when I saw her. She was just happy to see her mommy. Keep us posted how she does, I think that it is more stressful for us mommies than for our little ones. ![]()

| ![]() She sounds just like Rosie when she was younger. She hated us petting her, but now she loves cuddling. We praised her A LOT when we would pet her. She'll eventually understand that's what you want. Give it time. As of treats, Yorkie Yummies work great here and meaty treats work well. This is hard because every dog is different. I'm lucky because Rosie does anything for treats ![]() Like Megansmomma said, give it time. It took us 1-2 months of baby steps before Rosie got used to brushing. |

| ![]() I have a 6 month old Girl. She is very high energy too. It is the Terrier in them. Your Girl is not BAD. That was wrong for Peco to say that! They could not handle her, and it was their fault. PLease do not feel bad about their mistakes. I would not ever go back there again. I hope they did not traumatise her. That will only make it difficult for you and anyone else working with her in the future. I agree that using treats is a good reward for her and plenty of praise. I just bought A set of clippers for Suzi, and i am going to learn how to do it myself. i do not trust anyone to be good to my dog, and I hate to hear anyone's bad experiences at the groomers. I feel like there is no excuse for them to not be able to handle a small dog with loving care and patience.

| ![]() I have "Yorkie Treats" from here too, I got them when I got her harness. She goes day after tomorrow (Wed) to get spayed and then we are MOVING to another house in the next couple of weeks so I am worried about her being so confused. She is doing real well going on her pee pads and outside both right now too!! I don't know how that works but I am hoping she will be fine? Poor little girl. |
