![]() My Yorkie has been wonderful. We got her 3 months ago. She gets put in a cage at night. She has done great with that never barked or cried. But these past few days she will start crying all night long about an hour after I put her in the cage. Why is this? I have a 10 month old daughter that I lose sleep from she still gets me up several times a night. Now with the puppy wakeing me and the baby up it has gotten out of control. It is not very easy to get my daughter back to sleep. She hears the puppy and thinks it is time to play. How did we go backwards with our slepping situation? How do I fix it? Everything I seem to try is not working. Help!

![]() Have you ever let her sleep on your bed? Because if you have... well, she'll always want to if she's done it before. Otherwise does she need any water or food or does she just want attention when she barks in the middle of the night?

![]() She might be waking up and feeling a bit lonley. Maybe you can give her a cuddly toy or a safe chew toy to keep her busy during her "awake times". As Fasteddie noted, you could always move her to your bed but then it's a lifetime change for both you and your Yorkie pup. She will forever want to be in that bed. Also, if you choose this route, make sure she doesn't jump off the bed, bad for their legs/knees. If she is real young she might be needing to relieve herself also. Sorry to hear about the lack of sleep, it will get better as your pup matures. ![]()

![]() Hopefully she will never go in your bed. Mine have been sleeping with me since day one, and they NEVER have gone in our bed. Take her out just before bed and as soon as you get up. They are sooo cuddly to sleep with, too. I love it Good luck! ![]()
