| He won't eat unless I am right there Hey guys! I just got my baby yesterday! He is a morkie and is 3 months old. I love him so much already. I am having difficulties with him eating. He won't do it unless I am right there with him. Is this something he'll outgrow? I call him my little shadow because he wants to be everywhere I am haha. Thank you all! |

| He might. But when they are very little I worry about just leaving the food down thinking they'll eat. I worry they won't and then might get sick or hypoglycemic. Muffin would eat by herself, but Kacee wants you right there by her and sometimes she won't eat unless I start her eating by hand-feeding her. I know. I've spoiled her rotten, but that's ok. I wouldn't want to eat by myself, either.

| Congratulations on your new baby. Buddy is 4 1/2 and he won't eat unless I am standing there watching him. If I leave the kitchen so does he, so I stand there and tell him what a good boy he is. When he's finished he jumps up on me and goes back to his dish to show me he's finished, wanting more praise of course. I would just stand there while he eats so he feels encouraged and comfortable. They don't like being alone. |

| Okay so maybe he won't outgrow it haha! I just went to the vet and he said to just go with it especially during this transition period. I'm just loving him so much, that I don't care at the moment, but I am hoping he does outgrow it at some point. If I'm unable to be there during his feeding sometime down the road I want him to be able to eat without my presence. Crossing my fingers! Thank you everyone! |

| My mom's baby won't eat unless someone is there with him, and he's 2 1/2 yrs old He may or may not outgrow it...Just make sure that he's eating small and frequent meals so that you can avoid hypoglycemic episodes which can be very scary.

| Jaxon won't eat unless I am sitting on the floor beside him... fortunately it only takes him about 1 1/2 minutes to eat all of his food But the reason Jaxon wont let me leave is because he wants to play and although he is hungry, watching mommy walk away around the corner is more interesting It's not something I would worry about... at least he is eating, when I first got mine , he wouldnt eat GOOD LUCK!! |
