| Anything stronger than the bitter sprays? I think we're going to have to replace every wire to the computer and wire connected to every piece of electronics in the house! I've tried to hide, disguise and spray everything but the bitter sprays just do nothing. I think Chewie likes the stuff! We borrowed a printer from a friend and I hid the wire deep behind the computer but he still found it and chewed the hell out of it! He ruined lamp wires and the wire to my vacuum cleaner. We're in a small one bedroom apartment and there's only so many places to put things. I'm at my whits end and everything we own is getting destroyed..and he cant stay crated 24/7... help

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Some people use clear deoderant. Behavior training sounds like it may be needed. I really did keep all wires away from Joey when he was a puppy.

| You may want to consider get rubber hosing. They sell it at Lowes' and I'm sure you can find it on ebay as well. It looks like a hose that goes to your vacuum and it has a slit down one side to slide your wires and cords in. I had a bunch of them anyways but had never put them to use until I got Bella. She just ignores it and thinks that it's just a vacuum tube. She hates the vacuum so she usually goes in the other direction. |

| I have all of my cords in some kind of cord keeper. Any exposed cords are in little half tubes that stick to your baseboards form Lowes. That is a terrible description but if you look around Lowes there are tons of options.

| A freind of mine who used to breed told me to use vicks vapor rub vaseline on the feet of tables and other chewable spots. She said they hate the smell of it. I was lucky and did not have a "chewer" so I never needed to try this first hand. Just wanted to share the tip I got. Good luck!

| LOL, sorry my husband was walking in and I was trying to be quick. This looks sort of like what I use- White Snapmark Inside Right Hand Elbow That is a joint but they make straight covers also. So for example, for my fax machine and desk lamp that are near each other- I run both cords from the outlet, through the cover, along the top of my baseboard, behind the desk and up to fax and desk lamp- nothing is exposed. The ones I get can be painted also so you really don't even notice them.

| I crate trained my pup. You don't have to keep the dog in the crate 24/7. You just keep them in the crate when you can't be watching them and correcting behavior. Then the dog earns time out of the crate and freedom with good behavior. |

| It'd be a lot of work to put housing on all the wires in your house, I bet. A good solution would be to put your dog in an Xpen--it's bigger than a crate, but it keeps your dog away from the wires. Or you could keep him on a leash while indoors so you can keep a closer eye on him. When my dog bites on particular things, I use a little tabasco sauce and he never touches them again. We found that he actually liked the taste of the bitter spray, too. |

| Scooter hates the bitter spray so he's not a problem with chewing, But I have heard before that diluting Listerine with a little water and spraying it on cords works well too. It burns their mouths, so they never touch where it's sprayed again!
