| ![]() My pup is about 11 weeks old. She learned sit, down, paw and come 3 weeks ago and has been doing them all beautifully since. Yesterday or today, she will not lie down. She will do all the other tricks though. I dont get it. Think she forgot or is just being stubborn? Should I not give her any treats until she does it?

| ![]() Good job for 11 weeks! What great success!! Congratulations! Puppy class taught me to train Bailey as follows: When the puppy performs the command successfully - mark it with a "yes" and then follow with a treat. When she does not perform the command - mark it with a "wrong" and then turn away. Wait a few seconds, get the puppy's attention and give the same command again. If the same command fails three times - then you will need to help her along. The trainer was adament that we never continoulsy say the same command (like "sit....sit....sit...sit, Bailey...sit) or the puppy will learn not to perform until told more than once. Good luck!!
