| Anyone tried "dog training in your home"? Here is their site: Dog Trainers, Charlotte Dog Trainers, Charlotte Dog Training, Obedience Training, Housebreaking, play biting, jumping on people, pulling, won't come, growling, barking, begging, chewing, biting, door crashing, mounting, stealing food, going through t I have an appointment with them tomorrow which is a free evaluation. I have no idea how much the entire thing will end up costing, which is why I am wondering if anyone here as used their services since I am poor and just graduated college, haha. I am just also wondering how good they are and whatnot if anyone knows!! Thanks so much I am just trying to talk to someone about my Lilly (maltese), and get some help integrating her with my new yorkie pup (which I'm getting in 2 and 1/2 weeks, yay!). She isn't very well socialized with other dogs and I'm very worried and want to be prepared! I also want to get some of her barking under control so that she doesn't negatively influence the new puppy with her bad habits |

| I'm a trainer/behaviorist in Fayetteville, NC and think that in home training is best for most situations. I noticed that this place you are having come out is a franchise. You can also locate a great trainer by going to the Association of Pet Dog Trainers locate trainer page. You may find someone a little more cost friendly there! Please visit my articles and resources page for info on introducing dogs to each other, house training, etc: LDT New Dog Intro Last edited by ScootieBootie; 05-20-2008 at 04:27 PM. |

| We just had a dog trainer come to our home today to train Teddi. He trained with Ceasar and he was helping Teddi with her anxiety of going in the car. He was here for about 2 1/2 hours and he TOTALLY helped her with a lot of things! I feel like if I keep doing what he showed me she will be a different dog. It was funny...I got her a new carrier (the pet flys mini puppy love one) and he showed me how to put her in and take her out and when I put her in she just layed down (she used to hate going in carriers) and even when it was open she thought she couldn't get out because I had put her in there - so funny! The car issue is going to take a little while but with us going on 3 drives and one time just sitting in the car she was about 80% better!!! It was so worth the money.
