| Taping Ears I followed instructions on taping my puppies ears to make them stand up. I shaved the ears and used tape for one week. The problem is this. After I took off the tape, about 1 day later the ears start to flop back (they were flopping forward before I did the taping. Help please. Thanks |

| I don't have an answer for you, I am having my own ear trouble, so I know how you feel. I just wanted to wish you good luck!! The advise that I recieved said to massage the ears frequently to help stimulate circulation. This is what I am trying. Best of luck!!

| Get some moeskin by Dr. Scholl's and some eyelash adhesive (the clear kind for strip lashes). Cut the moeskin ( I'm not sure of the spelling but it's for the bottom of the feet) into triangles to fit in the ear and apply a small amount of glue to the edges. After making sure the ear leather is clean press the moeskin into the inside of the ear. Hold until the glue is set and shape into a natural position. The moeskin will breath and is soft so it won't irritate the skin. Over time the glue will give out and the moeskin will come off. Try to keep the ears dry and clean.

| Sometimes it takes more than a month of taping to see results. just keep taping and eventually they will stay up. |

the eye lash glue was something my breeder did before we brought her home. It lasted and didn;t come off but it was not so nice getting it off... You use baby oil to get it off if you should decide to try this.

| Just be careful taping. You can damage the cartiledge in their ears.

| Floppy Ear Hi there. I have had the same issue with my little one. He is almost a year now and his ears are still floppy. Does anyone know if it is too late to start 'training' his ears to stand up? Thanks.

| spoke with my vet the other day they said it was fairly common for the ears to do this. Her opinion was to just be patient and continue the ear taping until they stand. |
