The can with pennies really works well. I have been using it with great results. TJ used to bite at Sandy.. she is so quiet and well behaved... and he is so hyper. (ha ha!) What a mix. But it has worked well. Now, if I get the can out... he knows he has gone too far. But both of them bark when someone comes to the door. (We are still working on that one.) They love company and they want to be petted and loved on. Dexter is a very well mannered little 2 yr old. He doesn't bark at anyone. In fact, he is very shy around strangers. But he is getting much better. He has been staying with us for about a month, now. We are hoping his owner will just let us keep him. But.... time will tell. He has seperation anxiety. He hates it if I am not right with him... and he will whine and look for me.. I went with my daughter to the store and my husband said he whined and yipped and kept looking for me, until I got home. He loves my husband too... but he has bonded with me. I am home almost all the time, so all 3 dogs follow me all over. We play outside in the back yard a lot. And I take them for walks. Not too far yet... because of my health... but they love it. Bobbi Bobbi Last edited by grandmatoall; 05-14-2008 at 07:11 AM. | |

| ![]() CONGRATS on your pup!!! Rest assured a quiet yorkie DOES exist. I think I got both of them..lol..My pups are soooooooooo super quiet. The only time I hear them bark is if someone rings the doorbell, I'll get like 1-2 barks to let me know someone is at the door and thats it. Even that they don't do EVERYTIME. We're happy with our quiet monkeys...hehe

| ![]() Dudley barks ALL THE TIME and usually at NOTHING LOL. Miley is 5 months and so far is quiet, the only time she barks and when her and Dudley are playing and then it is a little bark, not too loud. She does not bark out the windows YET, hoping she doesn't do that like Dudley does LOL. |
