| ![]() My Chibichan bites me when he is in bed with his Daddy. When I come in to the room he attacks his Mommy. The same happens to Daddy when I'm in bed with Chibi. He bites his Daddy when he is sleeping in bed with me. My question is-if you had the same problem what did you do to teach your little one that the biting is wrong? Did it work? ![]()

| ![]() You will most-likely hear many different suggestions. Some are a bit more hands on with training and some are a bit more passive. I for one wouldn't allow biting. I would keep him off the bed every time he bites. I would make sure he knew it was his biting getting him in trouble by making a high yelping sound ( like his sibling would do when they are playing too rough) and immediately get him off the bed. I would wait a bit and let him on. Also, I would yelp and say "no bite" get him off then when you let him back on you could praise him by saying "good boy no bite" and if he bites repeat... Good luck

| ![]() There is no way I would allow a dog to bite me when I got into my bed! First he needs to be taken off the bed and allowed to sleep in his own bed. He has to be taught the bed is yours not his and he is a guest there when allowed. Never allow him on the bed first. He must be invited! I have been through this believe me and it does work. Never allow you pet to put his teeth on your skin! That is always a no, no. |
