|  I have a storage closet room (about the size of my bathroom) that I turned into the cat litter room. I installed a kitty door so the cats can come and go through the door. For some bizarre reason, Bitsy wouldn't go through the flap although she does fit (she's smaller than the cats) and that's worked for me. You can try top entry litter boxes:  Amazon.com: Clevercat Top Entry Litter Box:... or a product called S.E.P (Stop Eating Poop) by Solid Gold. You sprinkle it on the CAT's food so when it comes out the other end, it won't taste good to your puppy. Only problem with going that route is that cats can be such finicky eaters and might not want to eat their food sprinkled with the stuff...

| I am sorry, I don't have much advice to add, other than getting one of those enclosed or covered kitty litter boxes so puppy can't go in it. But I am cracking up here, at the sight you described, hey she is having FUN!!!

| Matthew just posted a great site and I think someone (Kathy?) posted a link to the "top entry" litter box which I think is a great idea. I think there is a picture of it on Matthew's link.

| I was just gonna say the same thing Matthew said. KathrynV posted a thread on those boxes today. Other wise try to block the box so kitty can get in but yorkie can't. I had that problem with Murfee when he was younger. good luck

| I never caught him eating the cat poop,but saw him laying out side of it- waiting for my cat, Sapphire to come out! He was so excited, wiggling his butt!! Poor cat couldn't even poop in peace!! I blocked it off!We laughed over that one-the cat did not think it was funny!!!
