| Is this right? My puppy is now 3 months old and is consistently waking up 2-3 times a night USUALLY to go potty. When do they start sleeping through the night, i read someone's post that was responding to a 12 wk old who should be sleeping through the night.

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | The general rule is. puppies can "hold it" one hour for every month old they are. For example, a four month old puppy can hold it for 4 hours. So, to answer your question, they may not be able to sleep through the night (8 hrs.) until about 8 months old.

| Benji was the same way when he was a baby. He still wakes up quite a bit in the middle of the night but it has gotten better. Good luck!
