How to find a good trainer? I been writing in different sections about my little yorkie being little aggressive and everyone is helping so much. I so appreciated all the info. She know drops her toys when told & if she has something she shouldnt she knws to leave it on command since she gets a treat instead, better than her grwoling and snapping, so progress is going slow but better. We decided to get a trainer, not sure what to look for beside i am against e-collar and any electrical shock, i dont feel it is humane. What is things we should look for please. Also does anyone know any good trainers in souther New Hampshire?

Sounds like you are doing a great job with your little one. I am sure you have posted your baby's age, but please????? These are my "Seven "P's" of Yorkie Training", hey they work for me..... Patience: Please be patient with me, we speak different languages and I might not understand you, you speak with words and I speak body language. If you will teach me in a way I understand, I will learn. NEVER FORGET you love me, but you are MY LIFE. Perservance: Never give up on me. Remember, I am a living being and have a mind and will of my own. Please work with me and allow me to be ME. Persistence: Please, please, remember that your persistence in training me to be obedient may save my life. If nothing more, please require me to come when called and to sit on command. If I have learned these two lessons well I will trust you and obey you in times of danger. Play: I NEED TO PLAY, fun doggie games, so please take some time to learn how to play with me. PEE and POOP: Don't forget that if I need to pee or poop I will be uncomfortable and will not be able to learn.

I forgot the MOST IMPORTANT "P": Praise: Praise even what seems like the very smallest effort on my part. Sometimes, what seems like a tiny effort is really a huge gift to you, from me. Remember, I love you with my whole being, and your praise tells me that you love me and that I am pleasing you.
