| barking at other dogs This is my first post to this site. Quick recap.... I took in a Yorkie as a stray 6 weeks ago. He's going to be 1 tomorrow (as a best guesstimate by the vet). When he came first he was very quiet. I think now it was because he was finding his feet after being abandoned. He was probably kicked out of a car as he is very nervous in the car and often throws up when we arrive somewhere. As he's settled in he's 'found his voice' which now means he will bark and bark and bark at every dog that we meet that's off a leash. I haven't been to training classes with him but is there a way I can get him to stop barking on a command from me? He walks very well beside me on a loose leash. |
