| Having a little problem with... Sal nipping at people and other dog faces. We tell him No but he nipped me three times yesterday and once today. He has nipped Sherlock in the mouth today. Is this normal for little dogs? |

| The only time Teddy "nips" is when he's trying to get my attention to play with him, and occasionally he'll nip at the cat for the same reason. I just tell him NO usually, but sometimes I have to give him a time out for him to calm down. I've heard that once they start nipping all the time its very hard to correct that behaviour so I tried to stop it right when it started. I'm sure some more experienced YTers will have more info for you. Good Luck!

| Thanks for the tip. I have a nipper, so I'll have to start putting him in time out.
