| Sorry to say it did not. Maybe if we had tried the rice before we turned it back on that first time, it would have worked. But we just dried it out for 3 days, then tried it on. It came on, but was all messed up. Same after the rice trick too. Good news though, the one from Scrapindee works like a charm! Thanks for the good deal on that!

| I am not sure I would keep the phone in a zip bag with the rice, as the point of using the rice is to dry it out.....and I am thinking that keeping it in a plastic bag may keep the moisture in........sounds logical to me.....and I would definately NOT turn it on for several days AFTER the rice dunk..... Good luck, heck with the price of replacement phones......a box of rice is $2. LOL. Shirley |
