My Lil Man! Donating Member | Talking toy?? I have a little bunny keychain that I got my fiance for Easter and when you squeeze its belly it says "Ahhh somebunny loves you" and makes a nibbling noise. My yorkie absolutely loves it! Its not very doggie safe and I was wondering if anyone knows any toys that talk like that and are made for dogs so I wouldnt have to worry about him getting choke on an eyeball or part of the keychain. We used to let him play with it as long as one of us could supervise but he has gotten to where he is starting to try to chew the little nose off so we had to stop letting him play with it. Any suggestions on toys similar to this that I could buy him?? Thanks! |

| Someone here had a video of their yorkie playing with a talking ball toy that looks cute. I think you can record your own voice on it. If I'm not mistaken, the ball also dispenses treats. The voice is activated anytime the ball is in motion. It seems like it was called the talking treat ball or something. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | For Ozzie's birthday, we just got him a fish at Wal-Mart. I think it was like $6 or $7. (It works like those slammer toys that were so popular a few years back.) It vibrates to roll across the floor, makes a siren and some other noises and has a voice like a cartoon alien that says things like "I am SOOOO spaced out." It runs for several seconds and you have to either drop it (or in Ozzie's case, shake the crap out of it) and it will go off again. HE ADORES IT! I usually have to take it away because he gets too excited playing with it. I've added a pic. It's the yellow and blue blob thing! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | OH WOW! I actually saw the pink fish in the same bin. I didn't realize they did different things, just thought they were varying styles. May have to look in to that. (As if Ozzie needs another toy. Poor thing. He has NOTHING to play with. ) The poor fish can now only be played with under supervision until he can be scheduled for surgery. (His guts are now seeping out of two Yorkie-chewed holes on his back and underbelly.) |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Yeah, there will have to be a "surgery day" soon to reattach limbs and sew up gaping holes like the fish has. He is starting to have his own private amputee ward. Just been too busy and too tired to deal with it. His fish doesn't play a song. It does the bubbling noise like a fish, has the siren, I think it makes a noise like a space gun and it has that little alien talking. It can get annoying after the 10th time, so I have tried to just tune it out ... |

| You could either find someone on here who sells toys that talk, or you could go to Petsmart, or Petco. Mine doesn't really care for toys that talk. He likes to squeak toys. |

My Lil Man! Donating Member | LOL yea the cat toy mouse that has a microchip or whatever that makes it squeak with the slightest touch...Reeses goes crazy for that thing to! He just destroys it so quickly it has gotten kinda expensive to constantly replace. Which I guess I could find one of the fish toys yall are talking about and swap between the two...then maybe he wont destroy the mouse so quickly. I swear I can buy the mouse and he will play with it all day and by nighttime its destroyed..either doesnt squeak or 100% torn apart. Its the only toy he destroys so bad. Oh I definitely understand surgery days!! LOL!!! |
