Cat Toys for Yorkies ; ) Has anyone else bough cat toys for their yorkie(s)? I find it hard to find toys small enough for mine so a lot of his toys are cat toys. His favorite being a mouse that you pull the string and it moves, Pippin loves to pounce on it

I got a empty water bottle 500ml dryed it out and put a few treats in it. Leave the lid off and watch your baby try to get the treats out. Tish loved it and she is a pro now on getting the treats out.

NO more holes in the bottle, just take the cap off. I cut her treats in small pieces this way they have no problem coming out. If your baby is not interested at first rub a touch of peanut butter at the opening. Tish knocks the bottle around the whole house and then brings it back to me when it is empty.

Higgins has always liked bangin' around our empty Poland Spring water bottles. So I just put some treats in, like you suggested, and he is HAVING A BALL trying to get them out! That should keep him nicely occupied for the morning! Thank you!

How funny!!!! Cookie just discovered an empty water bottle this weekend and she loved rolling it around the house. An empty bottle happened to fall to the floor and of course there was Cookie trying to play with it. At first I was going to take it away but then I noticed she was sooooo entertained. Now I will just have to throw some treats in there and watch her try to figure it out. Great idea!!!! I like that the "YorkieTalk toy" ChristineMozart: I have too thought of buying cat toys but the ones i see are filled with Kibble or something like that. So I have just passed them up. -RubyC Last edited by RubyC; 10-04-2004 at 11:20 AM.

Mine have always loved the water bottles, I will have to try the treats too. I have some cat toys for my dogs: little balls (the ones for dogs were too big), and they stold my cats feather tied to a string on a pole and love it they pull it around the house for each other to chase and if I pull it they chase it just like cats, all three of them play with it. The only bad thing is that they tear it up a lot faster than the cats do, but I would have to say that it is one of their favorite toys (other than the stuff that they aren't supposed to have).

speaking of stuff they are not suppose to have!!! Tish is a PRO with that. If I do not pay attention to her when she wants she will grab my clothes and run around the house with it. She even grabs the paper out of her play pen and even her poo to get my attention. ABrat she can be

What a great idea. Next empty water bottle I get will be added to the other toys on the floor. I can't wait to see if Schatzie likes the treat bottle or not. They are such a joy to watch playing!!
