| Is a bad behavior forming? Is it ok to let my puppy growl and yap at her toys while she's playing? She'll get so pumped up after a while and then dart off into one direction with a bark. It also seems like she's starting to bark more (when i'm getting her food ready). Is that part of them growing up or should i do something about it? |

| I think your puppy is just playing. I wouldn't worry about it unless she starts biting while playing. As for as the barking while you are preparing her food, mine does that if I don't get it to her fast enough, or she will bark at me If I'm not paying attention to her. They will train you rather fast, so be careful. Kim

| Kenzy is 4 yrs old and still plays like that. I thought it was adorable when he was tiny and I still crack up when he really gets going. The weird thing is he NEVER says anything at any other time so I really don't think your puppy is forming a bad habit. That is just her personality shining through!

| Now Zoey will grawl if we're tugging on a toy with her. I am so worried so will snap at us. It is cute while they grawl and play but I wonder if it ok or will they snap in the future if someone takes something from them ? I love the lil noises they make....

| i know! she's so cute when she plays like that, but she growls and bites me right after she's done playing with her toys. i think it's out of the excitement, but i should still watch out. so hard to put my foot down |
