No Longer a Member | The Mysterious Appearing Ball For some reason, every time this tennis ball appears at my feet and I throw it, it mysteriously reappears at my feet. My only clue is something brushes up against my leg just before it's appearance but I just can't figure it out... Anyone with a tennis ball/fetch junkie? |

| I've got a tennis ball junkie. In fact it has gotten so out of control with Cooper that I had to take it away. For a month!! When he has his ball he wants nothing more than to have it thrown. He doesn't pay attention to Max, food, or any other toys and treats. He lays with it all day and brings it to bed at night. If nobody plays with him he will bark continually! I will say that after taking the ball away he's a changed dog! He has lots of other interests now. We are working on reintroducing the ball back to him for maybe an hour or 2 per day. Max has learned to steal it from him, so at least we are having fun with it now. Poor boy. When he doesn't have his ball he's frantically searching through the house for it. Today is day 3 of having it back. He's sleeping in the windowsill with his chin on top of it.

YT Addict | I have to hide them away. Lula gets awfully demanding and it never ends! My boyfriend at one point decided to test how long it would take for her to get sick of playing fetch... he gave up after 3 hours.

| Oh, yes! We have to put the balls away and out of reach except for the designated fetch time every evening. Of course, we play fetch with many of their gazillion toys all day long, but it's not quite as obsessive!

| That sounds exactly like Kandi. I can't tell you how many mornings I have been (rudely) awakened by a ball dropping on my face! LOL! But then she gives me kisses, so it's okay.

| And...we had to take her tennis-type balls away and replace them with others without the "furry" stuff on the outside. I don't know why, but she likes to eat that stuff off of the tennis ball.

| My male cavalier, Cooper, has tennis ball compusions as well! We have to take his away from him, too, because otherwise it gets ugly. He loves to play with anything (as does Zoe), but those tennis balls...WOW! (He also pulls the fuzz off them at times.) Did you ever see the movie Spanglish...when she says "DON'T throw the ball!!!"? We quote that hundreds of times.

No Longer a Member | Lol at all the little "go-fetch" pups here. I've had to start putting the ball away, he only gets a couple hours a day with it, and for about 30 minutes he will sit and stare at wherever I put his ball and cry...poor pup |

| Remy likes a squeaky mouse toy. When I am cooking dinner it "appears" on my feet. If I don't notice Remy is sure to bark to remind me it is there.

| Belle LOVES playing fetch with tennis balls. She always drops one at my husband's feet in the mornings when he's getting ready for work. We play fetch all day. He also plays fetch with her while eating dinner. She seems to never tire of it.

| I get the same deal with the rag rope ball in the house LOL... Stranger yet...I bough one tennis ball ever it came with the stick to extend my throw (the mini one) anyways we have about 6 tennis balls here in varying sizes...some the size of a soft ball! Where did they come from...??? One of the neighbors must be tossing it over the fence thinking it's our ball...many of them from a house down from them...and the fur or skin kids bring them in...well we actually had two on our front porch door way so I'm guessing someone thinks they are ours...even the Great Dane sized one for my miniatures...
