| We don't do squeaky toys in my house. They drive both dogs crazy. Anything that rolls can be a problem. Cooper likes to roll them under the couches or coffee table and then will bark until the toy is retrieved. He is doing this exact thing as I type! The toy usually gets taken away and put on a high shelf. Fortunately he loves ALL toys, so he will play with anything that we give him.

| We don't do squeaky toys in our house either. Camden & Wrigley are afraid of them and Crosley actually has some kind of nervous breakdown over them! She tears them apart to get the squeaker out, along with all the stuffing and will not let the toy go for hours! She thinks every toy has a squeaky and she jumps, paws and steps on them to make them squeak!

| When I first got my little girl she didn't play with hardly any toys. Well I was cleaning one day and found her stash of toys that she would play with under the couch. The funny thing is is that none of them were the ones I bought her but the toys I had bought for my cats. I have found that cat toys are some of the best possible toys for small dogs. The only thing I regret is the mice with the squickers in (makes a sound like a mouse) are her favorite. Granted they are scented with catnip (makes her go for hours) but its the only toys in my house that are ever played with until she works the squicker circle out of them. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | This is a funny thread. There are times when we wish we never would have taught Wylie how to fetch - because IT IS HIS LIFE. We throw a squeaky toy for Wylie, he blows after it, Marcel fetches Wylie (while barking), Wylie brings toy to us and sets it on the sofa - while Marcel jumps up and tries to bite Wylie's ear as he's placing the toy for us. REPEAT. Every day. All day. Also, they LOVE squeaky toys to no end - so the majority of their toys squeak. Our house is just a symphony of yorkie noises. And it ain't no Mozart, lemme tell ya.

| Christmas...the time when doting grandparents spoil their yorkie "grandchildren" hence the plastic stocking stuffed with cheap dog toys. I don't know how my little monsters do it, but the hippo didn't stand a chance...neither did the poor monkey... |

| I hate squeaky toys with the noise makers inside. They just tear the toys apart to get the squeaker. Ugh!
