| ROFL - these stories are too funny! Olivia doesn't play with toys but my new boy does. His favorite was actually my Toby's (r.i.p.) favorite also, a Christmas gift to him from my daughter; it used to be a cute little squeaky black and white cow that could be stretched out to about a foot long and then it went back to it's small shape. Well, Toby got it to where the stretchy in it doesn't work anymore so it is permanently a foot long, it's head is hanging on by only about an inch, it has been gutted, and is a dirty white and black. But never fear - it STILL squeaks and that is enough for my new boy! DH was watching the Colts game and the squeaking was relentless...so cowbody had to go away...LOL (and I think it will stay away for a while).

| a black, fuzzy spider that squeaks. Uh yea...not good when you sort of see it on the floor without your glasses by moonlight. Can you say...mommy screamed loud enough to set off the car alarm? lol!

| This is a great thread...amusing. I really can't think of any of Winston's toys that are annoying...him wanting me to play with him 24/7 can be a bit annoying, but I just keep playing...I love that he loves his toys...and as they wear out they are magically replaced and the worn out one goes into his memory box for ever and ever...

| Roscoe got this soft rubbery green monster when he was a baby. He would only find that thing at night right when we were dozing off and start squeeking and squeeling that thing. When Sparkle came along she found it as amusing. I have to say that the green now looks black and dirty although its been thru the sanitize part in the dishwasher. Again the night squeeks began. But Sparkle is quicker than Roscoe and she runs under the bed with it just out of reach. So she thinks its a big game to hide it from mommy. I finally got a hold of that thing and tossed it in the trash. I kept walking by the can and the darn thing was staring at me and I finally pulled it back out and ran it thru the dishwasher again. It sits on my dresser and only brought out when I say its ok. Its hard being owned by a yorkie. That ugly green monster is now 5 years old and standing strong. It spends ALOT of time in time-out though! |

| Hahaha... I only wish there was a toy so wonderfully annoying that my puppy wanted to play with it 24/7 to drive me nuts. As it is, he has several very normal toys and only plays with them if we play with them together for the most part. Otherwise, he's chewing on things he shouldn't be, scratching at the textured walls like a cat, or looking up at us as we go about our daily lives, pleading pitifully with his puppy dog eyes for us to play with him. Uggh, I think we've spoiled him. Lauren & Nikko |

| SQEAKIES!!! I don't get chance to get annoyed by them though... ANYTHING with a squeaker is doomed in our house As soon as our Staff Nikki discovers a squeaker she tears the toy apart until it is well and truly DEAD!!! It takes no more than a few seconds and if the toy's a plushie then theres fluff EVERYWHERE But like a mug I continue to buy them, sometimes so long as Nikki does'nt hear a squeak, Mika will get a little use out of them before her bigger sis sorts 'em out I do keep a few small squeakies out of Nikki's reach, Mika has her own little hideaway that Nikki can't get too (she's too big to fit through the gap we've made) but as soon as Mika brings them out to share Nikki swoops in to rips 'em to pieces

| Squeeky Ball My Samson also has a ball that he can squeak. It's so much fun watching him play with it that the sound doesn't bother me! I rolled it under the sofa one day and it went all the way to the wall. I layed on the floor with Samson and told him "go get your ball". He crawled under the sofa and came out with the ball! So smart! |

| Stuffed Animals with plastic eyes. A big NO NO! This is Daisy. She's not happy because I took her away from her real puppies for this picture. When we got our two Yorkies, Skippy and Daisy, we bought them stuffed toys. At a year, DAisy discovered that she could chew the eyes out of the ones with the plastic eyes. She was obsessed or possessed. Everytime I would confiscate a toy she would start on another. I had to De-eye all our toys. Here is a picture of her this morning with two of her blind toys. I know they make animals with sewn in eyes. I would never have guessed a Yorkie would do this. Anita |
