| Ha ha Inverness too ! Tammy is day 35 later tonight, and is definitely pregnant....eeeeek ! There would have to be some other reason for her bulging size if she was not. The last 3 days she has ballooned ! In fact I am worried how big she will get - she weighs a tonne too ! Now approaching 5lbs. I have no idea how many puppies are in there....I tried to gently feel for pups a few times - I think there are definitely two, but how many more, who knows ! It's very scary ! Kenny is on Night-shift the week of the 23rd of April, when she is due, so I am on my own apart from my 16yr old daughter. I am reading up on my book every night. I am still worried whether she will manage to have these pups - she is only 4lbs normally, though wider than my other dogs and sturdy looking. To vet check, or not to vet check, that is the question ! She soaked my hubby's pillow the night before last, she was desperate for the toilet and it was her first ever accident. Poor dog, and poor hubby, lol She is still barking far more than normal, and still stealing anything of Tara's including her wee bed-chair or blanket and growling and killing it in front of poor Tara trying to make her jealous ! She searches like a mad-woman for anything of Tara's, and bounds about like a puppy - then she flops and sleeps for hours ! I have clipped her belly now, and have upped the food. I will post any news ! Debra x x x x |

| When I got Tammy last year, she was mis-treated and has never let me turn her over, or even look at her belly....she was still a bit coy a few days ago, but as I've been taking it slowly and talking to her about "POOPIES" lol, she has been letting me turn her on her side the last 3 days or so, and she is now enjoying me gently stroking her belly ! She deffo knows she has wee presents in there, and she is so proud of herself ! I am counting one big one, one small one on the other side, and there maybe more??? further up, but not at all sure. I think there is two though. I am the same - have had to get round my hubby for every dog I have, but he has 70 Tarantulas, so he usually relents ! I took ages convincing him to get number three Yorkie(Tammy)....I think he was just thinking this was ridiculous, and here we are with Tammy having babies, and he knows number 4 is coming ! I think he has given up, lol I was looking for a puppy for number 3, but there were none at the time, (there is a shortage up here) and 5 weeks looking was long enough for me once I had got the ok off Kenny, so I then saw Tammy's ad, and I went and got her - I am so glad I did. I haven't had a puppy since I got my first Tara, nearly 7 years ago, as my other two came to me at 19 months, and 3 yrs. Kenny said to me tonight, oh we could sell them this time and keep one next time, the so and so, NO WAY - after all she will go through being 4lbs(now>5lbs) - I wouldn't want to risk it. I am worried, though hopefull she'll be fine. Two would be fine for her....I just hope the larger one isn't too big in 3 weeks time - or I'll be at the vets. What size is your Darla, Dawn, and what size was the stud ? People were telling me to breed Tara, as she is so perfect, and I got her neutered at 1yr, as she too is 4lbs, and I was scared - but everyone I knew before I came on here, including breeders said I was mad, and should have got puppies off Tara. After coming on here and reading posts, I am worried, but I am just going to make sure I am ready for a vet if needed, and have everything to hand. Tammy is a sturdier built dog, and much broader without being fat, than Tara has always been. Tara is tiny and delicate, and now I know I was right not to breed her ! I knew better than the breeders with her. I just hope Tammy manages. Casper is the Dad and he is 4lbs but very lanky and skinny, and can curl up tinier than the other two. His breeder is helping me What day is your female now ? You must be soooo excited ! .......Debra x x x 1.TARA TAMMY CASPER..........2.TAMMY CASPER (parents to be) |

She feels like a chunk lol...Reece in my avatar is the daddy and he is 4-4.5 pounds!! Its hard to imagine Darla having more than one or two puppies lol...I think Darla is day 45 or 46...im too tired to walk upstairs to look at my calander lol...we feel some movement now and her belly is sure pooching out more and more every day!! I would post a picture of Darla if I could but I think all of her pictures were removed the other day along with my other pictures...I will try to find one to post though somewhere... Dawn |

| Your two are going to have lovely puppies....what are we like, eh ! Like mother hens, lol !!! Yes, Darla looks like a wee black Yorkie, and I love her ! Do you think by the look of the pics of how tiny Casper can curl up, that Tammy will manage to have his pups ? They are both normally the same weight, but I am sure if Casper didn't have such long legs, he'd only be about 3lbs, as he is so skinny ! That's why he curls up so small - there is nothing of him ! He has very long legs and my girlies have wee short stumpy legs ! I bet you are getting excited now with only just over 2 weeks to go ! Your pups will be small too ! |
