When I got Tammy last year, she was mis-treated and has never let me turn her over, or even look at her belly....she was still a bit coy a few days ago, but as I've been taking it slowly and talking to her about "POOPIES" lol, she has been letting me turn her on her side the last 3 days or so, and she is now enjoying me gently stroking her belly !
She deffo knows she has wee presents in there, and she is so proud of herself !
I am counting one big one, one small one on the other side, and there maybe more??? further up, but not at all sure. I think there is two though.
I am the same - have had to get round my hubby for every dog I have, but he has 70 Tarantulas, so he usually relents ! I took ages convincing him to get number three Yorkie(Tammy)....I think he was just thinking this was ridiculous

, and here we are with Tammy having babies, and he knows number 4 is coming ! I think he has given up, lol
I was looking for a puppy for number 3, but there were none at the time, (there is a shortage up here) and 5 weeks looking was long enough for me once I had got the ok off Kenny, so I then saw Tammy's ad, and I went and got her - I am so glad I did.
I haven't had a puppy since I got my first Tara, nearly 7 years ago, as my other two came to me at 19 months, and 3 yrs.
Kenny said to me tonight, oh we could sell them this time and keep one next time, the so and so, NO WAY - after all she will go through being 4lbs(now>5lbs) - I wouldn't want to risk it. I am worried, though hopefull she'll be fine. Two would be fine for her....I just hope the larger one isn't too big in 3 weeks time - or I'll be at the vets.
What size is your Darla, Dawn, and what size was the stud ?
People were telling me to breed Tara, as she is so perfect, and I got her neutered at 1yr, as she too is 4lbs, and I was scared - but everyone I knew before I came on here, including breeders said I was mad, and should have got puppies off Tara.
After coming on here and reading posts, I am worried, but I am just going to make sure I am ready for a vet if needed, and have everything to hand. Tammy is a sturdier built dog, and much broader without being fat, than Tara has always been. Tara is tiny and delicate, and now I know I was right not to breed her ! I knew better than the breeders with her. I just hope Tammy manages. Casper is the Dad and he is 4lbs but very lanky and skinny, and can curl up tinier than the other two. His breeder is helping me
What day is your female now ?
You must be soooo excited ! .......Debra x x x
