| Hi! Welcome to YT!!! If she is already almost one her ears will stay floppy. There is a very small possibility that her ears will come up at this age. There are alot of us here with floppy ear babies. My girl is 8 months old and she has floppy ears as well and I am sure that they will never come up..but I love her and wouldn't have it any other way...I don't think I can imagine her with her ears up. I have a male as well and his ears were up at 11 weeks and have been up ever since then. He is now 9 months old. |

| WELCOME!!! my boy's ear stood up since day one I had him. I hear of people that tape up ears but I personally think that droopy ears are soooo cute.

if here not standing by 6 months they usually never will...under 6 months you can shave and tape them until they do. Many factors come into play, too thick ear leather, over sized ears, never shaving the ear can cause the ear never to stay up.

I am also from England in Bristol so it is good to welcome someone from this side of the channel. My yorkies ears were up when we got them as puppies (I have two now, one age 4 years and other 18 months). Sometimes their ears are down whilst teething and if this is the problem then they should come up when teething is over. Years ago I had a female yorkie whose ears were not keen to come up and it was suggested that we put soap on the ears quite thickly as when this hardens the ears stay up. This did work but whether it was conincidence or not I am not sure. If you are not showing your yorkie is is really not important as long as they are healthy then looks are not so important are they. After all we cannot all be beautiful and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. | |
