CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW OLD ARE THEY WHEN THEIR EARS STAND UP AS HERS ARE STILL FLOPPY THANKYOU XXXXXXX
Hi
I am also from England in Bristol so it is good to welcome someone from this side of the channel. My yorkies ears were up when we got them as puppies (I have two now, one age 4 years and other 18 months). Sometimes their ears are down whilst teething and if this is the problem then they should come up when teething is over. Years ago I had a female yorkie whose ears were not keen to come up and it was suggested that we put soap on the ears quite thickly as when this hardens the ears stay up. This did work but whether it was conincidence or not I am not sure. If you are not showing your yorkie is is really not important as long as they are healthy then looks are not so important are they. After all we cannot all be beautiful and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
