| Both my mum's GE and mine were marked up as a gift. Items I've bought from Ebay from Japan, USA, and even Aus, have all been marked as gifts... guess that's how you make sure you don't have to pay the tax.

| That's actually illegal...I'd be careful in doing that because you and the sender can get in trouble. Now, the gift exchange gift would truly be a gift so you shouldn't have any extra taxes. |
