I don't send them... what I said was, items I've purchased from ebay that have been sent to me from outside the EU have been marked as gifts and that I guess that's how you get round it. I wasn't condonning it or saying I do it... I'm certainly not a law breaker!
If I'm unaware it's being marked as a gift then I don't see how that makes me part of an illegal process!
The GE is a gift and that was how I would expect it to be marked.
