| Come to Yorkshire! You will find housing cheaper. The jobs situation isnt great at the moment, but there is work for professionals. Depends what you do. It is a large county (in English terms) which has a coastline, but much of Yorkshire is 2 hours drive from the coast also. There are a few large cities, but there is also lots of beautiful countryside. You might find the climate wet and not sunny enough, but we dont get extremes of temperature really. Do you want to stay in your own country or emigrate? Why not come over for a holiday? |

| If u love the warm weather, the nature and nice people i recommend you Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) or Indonesia (i stayed in Bali). I had a job in that part of Asia and i fall in love with their culture and with people's attitude. OMG... i feel like crying when i'm thinking about that times. It is a big challenge but it worth to give a try! Plus, there are a lot of people from England established there! I remember that i was walking on the streets and people smile to me and wanted to talk to me. They are all so nice and curious to know about your country and culture! When you go shopping, they would bring you all the cloths in the store to try. And no matter you buy or not, they are smiling and wish you the best. And not to talk about prices.... which are so affordable! For rent, for food, for services... I was amazed about them, coz in Romania i'm used to pay a fortune for smth good. Ohhhh.... and not to forget about food!!! I'm still dreaming about those fresh and natural fruits and sea food with their specific spices! Yummy-yummy..... From my point of view, trust me, it worth to visit at least such a heavenly place like Bali or KL. All the best and good luck with your choice! |

| YT Addict | Louisville, KY is great. It is a small city, so you can do city stuff and slow paced stuff. We have all four seasons. Our economy is not too bad.

| I will add that I have lived in Germany and loved it.. been to England and loved it but was there for a holliday.. I am Canadian, and I come to Florida for the winter.. if I could I would live full time in the states.. but that will not ever happen.. so I enjoy the winters and hope my health stays good for many years yet.. If I could live in the States I think I would love South Carolina, Not Florida as I could not due the humid weather and storms in the summer months..I have not been to Arizona yet.. one of these years I will do the west coast of the States.. I would also want to live where the ecomony is cheaper..like some have said about NY and NJ.. I think California would be expensive.. in fact Florida is not cheap if one was paying property tax.. I pay enough and live in an rv park that have mostly park model homes.. I love to travel and would love to take a year to just do that. Depending on your age as to what I would do.. If I had to do it over again.. in the 70 I could have come to the states and simply appiled for a green card.. that takes guts for a young person to do.. so I did not.. A neighbor of ours wants to retire in San Salador, or El Salvador.. says it is cheap.. and they go each year for christmas.,.. so I would do that for a few years too.. if I have enough years left.. | Hi there. England can be so beautiful. We have lots of gorgeous countryside. The health service is free, apart from if you are under 60 you have to pay for prescriptions, but you could have to wait for any hospital appointments unless it's urgent. Can be wet at times, but we don't really have (normally) very cold winters, usually wet. This year is the exception. I find most people are friendly where I live in Lancashire. My favourite parts of England are Lincolnshire and on the Devon coast. If I could afford it I'd live somewhere warmer like Southern Spain. Hugs Shirl x x |

| I live in a village in Kent, Southern England. I wouldn't move to any other country, there is no place like GB. Scotland is the most beautiful country in the world. Kent is beautiful too, very green but does not have the splendid mountain scenery that Scotland has. |

| Well I do live in CA. and I think it's just about the most wonderful state of all, BUT, with all the mideasterners crossing all our boarders to do us harm here and in the US, I'd give anything if my husband could retire right now so we could move to Spain or Italy. I lived in Madrid for 3 years and honestly didn't want to come back. I would of course live on the Meditrranean side, like in Malaga. So darn beautiful. My son is stationed in Spain at Rota and he's is completely in love with that country. It's awesome. I love their weather because it isn't humid, no snow (except in the mountains) and is just like our weather here........perfect in every way.

| I live in Florida, and am sick of the heat, no jobs, constant house foreclosures, etc. Looking into Kentucky and Missouri.

| Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Hi there I have always lived in Newcastle upon Tyne in the north of England. The countryside in Northumberland is beautiful but like every where it has its good and bad points. Labour goverment has ruined this country and although we now have a new goverment in power and they are trying to fix the problems we have here it will take a long time. I have never lived anywhere else so I havn't got anything to compare to but I can tell you that I love living in Newcastle. People here are friendly, hard working and down to earth.. There isn't many jobs at the moment but lots of people work away from home and come home at the weekends here. BUT I wouldn't recommend moving here.. not at the moment anyway if you have seen the news lol x
