| Sammy was 4 months old when we got him. He was and is such a good little boy!! I think it's better to wait til they are older than 8 weeks. |

| I got Tink at 2.5 years old.... from the pound! Why? Because she had issues! Her papers showed that she was originally purchased from a pet store at 8 weeks by her first owner. I can tell you all, there is nothing like teaching an adult dog bite inhibition! Peek a Boo was a failed show dog. Got him from the pound too, at 5 years old! He had severe bonding issues (go figure). He also thinks he's a cat! He turned 14 in Dec '10 and he's doing great! (but it did take time). Sapphire came to me at 2 years old, from a breeder who retired her. She's just a bit delicate, but has come along nicely, and is very sweet. Infinity is a retired Biewer breeder, she is my nut-job. Hysterical mess, and I love her dearly. She came to me at 2.5 years old. No major problems... she's such a clown though! I, too, have seen far too many threads of new owners having to deal with biting issues in puppies... very sad and best to be avoided if at all possible...
