| I'm on the east coast Katlin, Fifeshire. I was born in Kirkcaldy, home of Adam Smith, and not far from Dunfermline, home of Andrew Carnagie. That was a wonderful age your grandmother reached, and I'm glad she managed to come home one last time. My husband and I are going to New York in November for our second trip. The last time, we couldn't go to Macey's Parade, because it was raining heavily, but we hope to see it this time. Apart from that, we haven't been anywhere else in USA (yet lol). |

| I know you'll have a great time in NY. Hope you get good weather. If so, try the NY Harbor tour too. We really enjoyed it. Thanks for reminding me of so many memories of my grandmother and our trips to Scotland. Very special.

| It's nice to find your roots, Katlin. I'm glad you liked Scotland, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else, despite our politicians. I did like New York, and I found the people to be very well mannered, friendly and helpful. That's something to be proud off. |
