She just charges more than others.I spoke with her in detail for over an hour and she seems quite dedicated to her dogs. I also spoke with Gail Smart of Garden Grown Biewers in Midland and she had nothing but praise for Adele (despite having to take a pup back to Adele and get a refund). She said Moonbeam looked good (on the website) and that the pricing was not out of line. I was surprised by what Gail said about Adele... all good.

So if Moonbeam is not available I will be on a waiting list for both breeders and will pick a puppy that is ready to be picked up December 15th (start of my vacation).

I'm glad you got a good vibe from her...when I spoke to her last year...something did not sit right with me (maybe not a good day for her on that particular day?)..in any event, her pups are gorgeous!

I agree - it could have been an off day. Adele told me right away about the dog she sold to Gail which had to be reutrned - no hesitancy there; and that she retired the parents right away. For sure, buyers do need to feel comfortable with the breeder. I like both Gail and Adele so who knows - I can only (barely) afford one more puppy. We'll see which one it ends up from.

So you have decided....a Biewer huh? You will love them...they say they are more laid back...I'm NOT seeing that with Jersey at all! She is a little firecracker....could be puppiness though. She is a sweet baby though...love her to the moon and back as i do all my babies!

I think I have made up my mind to get a Biewer. At least they are easier to find than a true silver Yorkie!! Now I am on a waiting list for Biewer litters in Midland and Niagara area.

That's good to hear, you have narrowed it down to two...both good choices, IMO they are both good breeders...good luck!

Thanks Jacqui. Waiting for a litter to be born is so hard. I'm hoping there will be a litter born any day now so a puppy will be ready for pick up mid-December.

You are right Liz...then once the litter is born, you have to wait a further 12wks! Jersey was 6wks when I found her, so I only had to wait another 6wks..although it felt like the longest 6wks in the history of mankind!! I feel for you hun!
