| Hi , I am orginally from Vancouver and when we moved to Toronto , i lfew a few times with my girl(meggie). She was great , whined a bit at first during take off. Although I wasn'r allowed to take her out of her softside carrier (check with the airline for specifics) , I did hold it on my lap and pet her and give her sips of water. Tracy |

Tracy & Parker , Sweetie and I live, just outside of Windsor, Ontario. Sweetie is 5 1/2 pounds, and turned 1 :Puppy: in August 2005. She is so much fun and so full of life . Your pup must be very cute, I was thinking that it might look like a " Biewer " it is a new breed in Europe .( www.biewercoa.org ) .Take a look. See if your pup looks anything like them?

| Gosh folks am brand new on this and don't really know how to begin. But I do know that I have a wonder baby (my baby) a little puppie that was given to me as a birthday present 3 years ago and what a present it is. I raised german shepherds and then went to siberian huskies and trained them as well, but to get a little yorkie man that is something else. It was my granddaughter and her mother that thought about me and a little doggie like my Skooks. Now it was my niece Cortney and Max that introduced me to this program and again this is priceless wow. It haas taken me a long time to get going and today is the day that I'm willing to introduce myself on here. My name is Shirley and I still have my Layla and my Quincy a retriever plus now Skookum and believe me I don't have any idea of where that name came from for sure except she picked that up and really wanted to play and something to chew and will be her name forever. and I ndeed I love that little girl and I also think that she should have a friend **male** to keep her busy, I have so many folks around here that wants on of her puppies and I do believe that for sure. Not sure that I should do this anymore either but she should a friend to play her size ....I'm going to go for now and thank you very much..........byeeeeeeeee |

| Hi there! Introducing... MAX. and me. My name is Cortney, and Max and I live in Edmonton Alberta! Max is 3 years old, and is a brother to Skooks (see above). His birthday is November 28. We love to hike and bike and do all sorts of fun things together. I recently purchased some x-country skiis so we can even go skiing together. He stays in my backpack of course!! Max loves to hike. We've been up Mt. Rundle, and Sentinal Pass in the Rocky Mountains. I hope to hear from more Albertans as well. Perhaps those of us in Edmonton could schedule a doggie walk once a month. Happy Trails!!!! -Cortney and MAX

| Hello fellow Canadians! I just found out about YT today and when someone posted a welcome to my first "Hello" posting, they told me about this part for Canadian members! Yahoo! It was great to read all the Canadian messages!! I got my new baby Yorkie for Christmas/05 and we named her Lady Ginger Bailey-Mae, Ginger for short. She was born Oct 26/05 and she has been an absolute joy!!!! We live in Cranbrook and also have a 3 yrold Maltese, named Skiddles. He is not too happy about his baby sister - yet!!! We drove up to Dawson Creek for Christmas and both of our furkids travelled well. We hoped Ginger would travel as well as Skiddles always had and she did! She also got to meet 2 cats, 5yr old grdtr and 18 mo old grson, and 2 outside huskies. She has socialized very well and loves other animals as well as people. We are potty training her on pee pads and she is doing excellently! I am going to start her outside by first moving the pee pad to the covered deck and hopefully that will be as successful as in the house has been. I love this forum and what a great way to learn all about our wonderful Yorkies and to see other gorgeous pups. Hope to chat with you all, sooner or later. Puppy kisses from Ginger and Skiddles and warm thoughts from me, Barbara

| Hi everyone, We just picked up our 11 week old yorkie on Monday. We live in Saskatoon and I drove to a breeder near the Saskatchewan/Alberta border. Took me 4 hours to get there as I got lost. The drive home was 3 hours. It was worth it as he is such a good natured little boy. I take him to work with me everyday and he is so friendly to everyone. Even though it is very cold here we are taking him outside to go potty. He does it right away and then back in the house. Smart little guy. We waited awhile for this little yorkie as we couldn't afford what some other breeders were asking. I am glad this breeder was very reasonably priced. It was worth the wait. |

| Hi Sweetie and Jane here, from the Windsor ON area, Essex. Love to see us having a site that we, Canadians can talk about your little babs on. Sometime, we are just, a little different than our US friends.
