I was looking at another thread and saw that the Pet Expo will be in Long Beach Feb 2, 2013
Southern California Pet Expo - Long Beach / Los Angeles Pet Event - Long Beach / Los Angeles Pet Events

I was wondering if it is better to go with or without dogs. We would be about an hour from home.

im going without dogs

its easier to get too look around and shop and i just bring measurements and my measuring tape if i want clothes. i noticed they dont really check the vaccination records or rabies like they said they would, so its a lot of dogs that i just dont know about

i would bring the dog if you dont mind carrying buster around.

Me and three friends did this in July, and it was super hot. I brought a wagon to put my girls and two other Yorkies in so their pads wouldn't get burned on the hot asphalt. We took a water bowl and several bottles of water. There were lots of larger dogs wearing shoes which was wonderful to see. With the cooler temps. in Feb. you will enjoy it more, and so would the fur kids.
