| Playmate for Bobby... I met someone that has a 1 year old Silky Terrier and she lives in San Francisco. She just started a new job and she has to leave her dog in a kennel for over 10 hours and she feels horrible. She is looking for someone to "share" her dog during the week and then she is off on the weekends she can take her dog and also babysit another one if necessary. Maybe you can reach out to her? edith.chan@gmail.com

| SF MeetUp Is Great! I'm also a SF MeetUp Member, and LOVE IT. I was a member a long time before I had my Yorkie, Lola. I learned so much about the breed by going to one of the meetings. I couldn't believe how many cute dogs were running around and playing with eachother. It's very fun to watch them make new friends with dogs of their own size and same breed. I can't wait until the August MeetUp. We will get to celebrate Lola's 5th Birthday (Aug 5). I'm already looking for her Birthday Dress.

| Ocean Beach Small Dog Walks every Sat @10am Hi, I recently moved to San Francisco from NYC with my Yorkie mutt Sigmund Freud. We recently discovered the small dog walk on Ocean Beach. They meet every Saturday morning at 10am on Ocean Beach across from the Beach Chalet. Around 10am they start walking to the end of the beach near the Cliff House, have a chat and then go back. The website is ForTheDogs.net. There are typically 50-100 dogs running across the beaches (some yorkies too). The rules are no leashes, no toys, no treats and no poop left behind. That group also organizes a walk a Pine Lake Park I think on Tuesdays @ 5:30pm. If you are planning on coming, please note that there will be no walk on Oct 4th as there is a sand castle contest that day. We have also noticed quite a few small dogs gather after work (5-6ish) at Lafayette Park (Octavia and Sacramento) and Fort Mason. You can typically find us at Lafayette Park most days and at the Beach Walk every Saturday. Hope to meet some of you there!!! |
