Hi,

I recently moved to San Francisco from NYC with my Yorkie mutt Sigmund Freud. We recently discovered the small dog walk on Ocean Beach. They meet every Saturday morning at 10am on Ocean Beach across from the Beach Chalet. Around 10am they start walking to the end of the beach near the Cliff House, have a chat and then go back. The website is ForTheDogs.net. There are typically 50-100 dogs running across the beaches (some yorkies too). The rules are no leashes, no toys, no treats and no poop left behind. That group also organizes a walk a Pine Lake Park I think on Tuesdays @ 5:30pm.

If you are planning on coming, please note that there will be no walk on Oct 4th as there is a sand castle contest that day.

We have also noticed quite a few small dogs gather after work (5-6ish) at Lafayette Park (Octavia and Sacramento) and Fort Mason.

You can typically find us at Lafayette Park most days and at the Beach Walk every Saturday.
