So far, I contacted every website I know of that she advertises all her puppies on, the local newspaper that we saw the ad in, and sent a breeder complaint packet full of all my correspondance with her as well as the vet report to all of the following:

Attorney General of Oklahoma, Puppy Mills, The Humane Society of the United States, Department of Agriculture – Oklahoma, and the Better Business Bureau of Oklahoma. I just sent this in the mail on Monday, so hopefully something will come out of this.

Anyway, it is all in the hands of our attorney now and all we can do is wait. Wish us luck!

Good Luck ! That Witch to sue u for the 200.00 when she sold u a sick puppy,
she should be glad u didn't pay all of it with a check , I would cancel it and reported her. Ur furbaby is luckie u found it a good home.

I called Leslee Mitchell immediately to notify her that we were not wanting to purchase a puppy with parasites or a Genetic Knee disorder and we would like a refund. Leslee was very crude, unprofessional, and irrational. She immediately told us we could bring the puppy back but we would definitely not get a refund and that she did not have the puppy checked by a vet herself. Her "policy", that was never stated before or signed on, was that she replaces does not refund. I then told her we did not want a replacement puppy (littermate) that would more than likely be infested with Coccidia as well and that after doing some research I found several articles stating that any puppy, littermate, or parents that are diagnosed with Patellar Luxation should not be breed. Yet, she feels it is a better deal to replace the puppy whenever the dogs should have another litter. I refused to make Grandma wait on another puppy or give this one back in hopes she may or may not replace me with a puppy who will probably have the same conditions. I am doing everything in my power to spread the word about this breeder to prevent this from happening to other families. Also, she has a website called lesleeslittleluvables.com found this website after all this happened and found out she also breeds Boston Terriers and Chihuahua's. - which she advertises on NextDayPets.com. All the Chihuahua's and Boston Terriers are AKC registered, vet checked, and with a health guarantee (including the littermates of the Yorkie I bought). I had asked her why the Yorkie I bought is any different than all the other puppies she had vet checked and AKC registered. My feeling, she knew the puppy's condition and sold it to us like that anyway without informing us anything. She never did reply to that question. I also cannot believe we never got any indication that she has a "puppy ranch" on that property. So please, DO NOT BUY FROM LESLEE MITCHELL" Thank you!

Liz James sells on puppyfind and sold me and several other people I know amazing dogs. A friend of mine bought a dog from her and it was shipped in a fantastic dog so I looked in to getting one. And found out the reson she bought it was by following a trail of happy customers. So I contacted mrs James. And I was do for a vacation so I flew in to Louisiana and wnt there and not only brought me home an amazing little female Yorky but saw some of the most spoiled dogs in the world. Yes mrs James is old and may be a little forgetful But I would recomend her. I am sorry if anyone else has had a problem with her but if you are a dishonest breeder and she finds out she will back away from you. She avoids puppy mills and anyone who she thinks will sell to a puppy mill or may mistreat the dog.

Wow~! what an amazing experience you had with this breeder! She must have received extensive and intense retraining on reputable breeding practices because previous posts on this thread would lead one to believe otherwise. PTL a miracle has been had in Louisiana! Google is a marvoulus tool isn't it~I'm sure that is how you stumbled upon this thread from waaaaay back in 2009 It's with astonishment that I post knowing that we now have witnessed reform from a breeder with a previous reputation under suspect! What a wonderful vacation you must have had to be able to meet this angel in disguise to purchase one on her puppies! Good for you and welcome to YT~I'm sure you will fit in fabulously in our community We would love to see pictures of your new little one....everyone here LOVES yorkies and we also love to see pictures! OMG~she also sells fainting goats! Did you see them when you went to visit? I've only seem videos on Youtube of fainting goats. They are amazing and so funny! Boo and over they go.....

And as the happy customers go they went back as far as 1999. I am going to take my little lady Bella in for her photo shoot so I can put her pic on. And I am going to get her a running mate also from Mrs James. I think anyone can have a bad experience with a breeder or a buyer I think it depends on the person. The people complaining about Mrs James could be bad breeders themselves how are we to know. ANd Mrs James is elderly if she wasn't I think she would get on here and defend herself. Have a sunny day
