I just wanted to inform Everyone who has had a problem with babydollyorkeis.com that I'm now suing!!!! YAY! Thank you all for sharing your stories with me & without you I would have been lost!! Weeks ago I gave my little one back to theresa in hopes of him finding a good home! I will NOT pay 2,000 for a dog that comes with only LIES & stories that change day to day!!! This has been VERY emotional for me & hope to one day find another furbaby to love! I can't wait to tell all your stoires in court too! SPECIAL THANKS to Kim (yorkiepassion.com) You have helped me more then you will ever know! I hope to one day meet you & bring one of your little ones home! THANKS TO EVERYONE! I love YT! I have filed complaints about her to the ASPCA and you may use those reports in your case if you'd like. I just sent them over there to check things out, I am not sure what they found though.
She is a terrible person!!! How could anyone be a puppy broker???

That is against AKC Rules and if they know that they will not register the dog. They must have paperwork on each person through who's hands the dog passes. I am having trouble with this right now as the lady who originally bought the dog in question died and he was given to her neice. The neice then sold him to me. The dog's registration was never sent in, but the original (deceased) buyer's name was filled in as the buyer on the puppy registration form. I called AKC wanting to register him and they said I have to have someone with power of attorney in the lady's estate sign off on a transfer statement and also sign that they have power of attorney and then the neice has to sign before I can register the dog.

These stories are unreal, you would never believe there are people out her getting over like this. God deals with liars and thieves, crooks and killers, I hate to say it, but someday the so called breeders will regret getting over on people.

I am so glad I read this! I had pretty much decided that I wanted to buy my puppy from babydoll yorkies! Had it not been for members of yt I never would have known! Although I do have to say I am somewhat relieved that she is not legitimate because she in my opinion is somewhat overpriced. Does anyone know of any reputable yorkie breeders in California?

I've found the breeders address & phone number! My baby is really from Parks, Arkansas!!!! That's a long way & I'm sure he had a long flight too! I need help deciding weather or not to call the breeder?! I don't even know what to say!?!? What do you all think? I'm lost! Thanks! :)

I would contact the breeder and let her know everything. When I purchased my puppy from Babydoll Yorkies in September, Theresa had altered the registration papers and AKC would not let me register her. I contacted the breeder and explained everything to her, but she defended Theresa at that time.

Last month the breeder did contact me and help me get Izzy registered. She also now knows she was deceived just as I was. I think most breeders would not knowingly sell their puppies to a Puppy Broker.

I got in contact with the REAL breeder! She was really sweet & told me all the info I needed to know!! My poor little guy had to take two flights to get to Sacramento, ca and was split up from his brothers & sister! Theresa only paid $600.00 & I paied 2,000!!!!!!! WOW! I can't wait to see Theresa in court now!! Thanks for the support Mary! :D

I am one of the breeders that Theresa did deceive.My name is Kelly Touchet.I might be the breeder to one of your pups.Theresa contacted me stating that she had one female yorkie and that she loved them and decided to start a small breeding program.She told me they would live in her home not in cages.When a person contacted me saying they had bought a pup from her,I contacted her and she stated that the pup didn't get big enough to breed.Like a fool,I trusted her until another person contacted me.I really didn't think she was reselling because she paid 1500-1800 for each pup she had got from me.What i didn't know is that she was re-selling them for 3000.I have very nice yorkies.I have been breeding them for 12 years.They all live in my home and are my family.I never was able to have children so these are my children.They sleep in the bed with us.I just wanted to let people know that the breeders have no idea that she is a broker,so the buyer's are not the only ones that are being deceived.I NEVER would sell my babies to a broker....Kelly Touchet

This past friday my boy friend & I went to court to sue Theresa! I shared all of your stories with the judge & he must have been a pet lover!!!! We were unable to get our little one back but the judge ruled that Theresa owes us $3,500. We've offered to buy the puppy back but I'm sure she's going to turn the offer down. I only pray he finds a good loving home!! Thanks to everyone who helped us along the way, We LOVE yorkietalk!! As for Theresa...What goes around comes around & my family will pray for her.

Because we believe we have some of the best...also congrats qtblondy 1 Glad you went through with it to bad you didn't get the pup but hopefully you have a made a statement to babydollyorkies that if you mess around we will take you down. YIPPEE YT...

Wow I'm glad your day in court proved that YT is here to protect the yorkie breed. Thx for your effort in this as well. Its people like you who help keep dishonest people running away. I hope she gets her punishment and doesnt do this anymore, but Im always hoping for the best and not always getting it. Maybe this time is different and you actually make a huge difference in the way she does business....Probably not but it still helps to try!!!
P.S. Did you ever get a yorkie pup? we are neighbors and play dates are a good thing.

I just want to let you know I appreciate all the work you did. I'm sure it was draining on you and your boyfriend to pursue this woman but hopefully it will make a difference. Maybe you saved some furbabies :)

How terrible. I hate dishonest breeders. It really gives a good breeder a bad name. I have never brokered a pup but there is a female I got from another great breeder and she is looking to be too tiny to breed so I will be looking for a new home for her....maybe...:D but I would certainly be honest with the buyer. Always ask questions and you have to do your research! I'm glad you love your new baby..... that's what matters!

I am so sorry to hear all the bad luck some of you have faced...I have been in the market for a tiny black/gold akc male...but will not settle for anything...I want to be able to see the parents...the siblings...the other family members..if possible...and most importantly the way they are raised and taken care of...

so one day I got a breeder number from someone and decided to call them up...I drove like almost an hour out of town...to a little town in KS..the whole way there i was like...man this better not be a puppy mill...so as i approach the house...i was like maybe it isn't since it was the best looking house on the block...new siding...new paint...also she was in the adoption program and has like 6 adopted kids, oldest being 10 and youngest being 1 year .. and so forth...as i rang the doorbell i did not hear 1 single bark coming from inside...so i was like ok...they must train their dogs well...

so i go in...and she pointed to the little baby playpen in the corner...there were 4 little yorkies trying to climb out of it...so far so good...then i happen to look to the other corner of the house and seen a crate with some shih ztu puppies...so i was like she has more than 1 breed of dogs...

so i asked where are the parents...and she responding in the shed...i was like in the shed..(please keep in mind this was mid Dec...temperature that night was almost below 0...and supposely the dad was 2 lbs and the mom was 3 lbs)..so i asked may i see them...

she then said ok...let me go out there to get them...as so goes outside...i turned and asked the oldest girl if they stay out there all day and night...she said yes...the little girl also told me that the other day her mom had asked her to go out there to change the newspaper for the dogs...so she did...and she was like mommy...one of the puppies are frozen...i was like what...she was like yeah one of the shih ztu puppy froze out there...that was so heartbreaking to hear

then Debbie comes back in and said the light just blew out so she needs a flashlight....after she got her flashlight she went back outside...so i asked do they live in cages...she replied yes...so then i asked how many dogs is out in that little shed...she responded 17 dogs...

what a shock that was...so i said 17 yorkies...she said no...7 yorkie...3 labordars...then her mom came back in...so i figure ok that means the other 7 are shih ztu...

And oh my...seeing the sire of the puppies...made me sick...he had a full coat...and yes he was small...but the urine/decal clump on his legs and hair was enough...she was like i can't put him down or he will mark everywhere...

so in my mind i was like there is no way i am going to support her in making money, if i was to have bought one she..i would have been guilty of supporting a puppy mill..

i told her that i will think about it...and went on my way...on the drive home i was in total shock...tears, anger...you name it...i most likely had it...

So I thank all of you who take the time on here to report people like this..to warn others...

well i guess this post is kinda long...I hope I didn't bored anyone with it...

Please, please tell me that you reported her to the humane society!!!
And told them about the frozen dog, she could get in a whole lot of trouble for that, in my opinion she should be sentenced to life in prison!!
Hello! My name is Jessica, I am so in love with yorkies. I have 3 beautiful yorkies and I breed 2 of them. The 2 yorkies that I breed are just gorgeous with sleek straight coats, extreme babydoll faces, really short cubby bodies and short erect ears. I am so proud of my babies!!! And I am even more proud to say that my dogs live indoors with me (all yorkies should because they do not have under coats) sleep on my bed, are groomed everyday by myself, and genuinely loved and cared for.
I just am so heartbroken over all the dogs, let alone yorkies out there that are just being used for breeding and kept in small cages and never loved. the living conditions in puppymills are horrible, constantly living in their own filth and have urine burns covering their bodies! NO VET CARE, NO WARMTH, NO LOVE! NO ROOM TO RUN AND PLAY! Some places even "debark" their dogs. this is were a medal pipe is shoved down the dogs throat rupturing their vocal cords, so they cant cry out. More needs to be done to stop this abuse!!!! All who are looking to buy a pure bred dog, be very picky who you buy from. NEVER NEVER BUY ONLINE without going to the premises and inspecting YOURSELF the living conditions! I personally would only buy from someone who has the dogs as members of the family! No more then 6 or 7. when breeders have more then that I wonder how do the dogs get special one on one time???
If you suspect a place of being a puppymill or for any type of abuse please get their address and contact your humane society and you can even report anonymously. Dogs have no way of helping them selves, you are their only hope!
Please spread the word on puppymills, they are all over the net!!! Educating people is the only way this abuse will end!!!!

Oh my goodness...you bought the same exact thing up about debarking that i have heard and read about...i actually read that here at work one day...and i was crying my ass off...i couldn't even stop crying...

but as for reporting her to the humane society...i live about an hr away from her...and i told a lot of people about it because i was in total shock...and everyone told me the same thing...

but i didn't know where to start nor so i begin looking on the akc website to see if she was listed...didn't find anything...so i didn't report her...wish i would have...

you still can, please dont let time or distance stop you, those dogs are suffering every minute!! You have to stop her!!! Give me her address and I will make the call!
It is very easy, you can look up the number online or in your phonebook under humane society or ASPCA. and tell your local humane society about it, if it is out of their juridiction then they will call the humane society in that jurisdication. Please, you have to, it will end up haunting you, trust me, I know. and you dont even have to give your name although you should because she could definetly be prosicuted especially if a dog died. Seriously, if you dont want to PLEASE LET ME DO IT, in fact give me her phone number too. there are some things i would love to tell her.

I am so thankful that I read this thread. I am currently looking into adopting a tiny yorkie puppy and was looking at the babydoll yorkie website. I thought she was a reputable breeder but see she's far from it. Thank you for saving me the heartache. I send all of you that were scammed hope and luck.

Wow I am so glad that I read this, I am looking to buy a little boy and I am definitely going to go to the home and check it out before I set my heart on one! I have learned so much from this site! I can't believe people would be so dishonest! Thanks for oping my eyes!
