We got our little Kinder from Deb Sillers in Fairfax,Missouri. Her web site is amazingyorkies.com and she is a featured breeder on YT. We got Kinder because she was very helpful and imformative to us. I talked on the phone several times to her. We drove down to her place in Missouri and we saw her kennels which were very nice and clean. She had beautiful yorkies and very healthy puppies. It was a joy to meet her in person and also my vet said we have a happy healthy puppy. Kinder is a little over a year and a half now and we love her to pieces.I would recommend anyone to call her or e-mail her to buy a puppy from her. Susan |
anyone know any good breeders in Southern California? i cant really find any by doing a search thanks |
I always recommend breeders who belong to the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America. They are, by and large, breeding for the right reasons, not just to produce more pets. They are preserving and improving the Yorkshire Terrier breed. When you support a great breeder, you are supporting the breed as a whole. You'll see a breeder referral in my signature. I’m not associated with the club, but I’m so glad I learned about them here on Yorkietalk, and got my dog Joey, from a member. Please do your homework and learn the qualities of a good breeder and always visit the home to see how the breeding dogs are kept. Don't buy a dog over the internet, it's worse than buying from a pet store! |

I had every intention of getting my second yorkie from her but my friend's dad's yorkie just fathered a litter and he is giving me his pick of the litter at no cost and I couldn't turn it down haha |

maybe they can help you |
Can we resurrect this thread again!??? LOL! I would love to see this thread updated! But I also wanted to mention that the YTCA link says "site suspended". I'm very disappointed because it was recommended so many times! I hope it's just a temporary thing. Does anyone know? |

I'd be curious if the posters from this thread would still recommend the breeder they did when they originally purchased their pup. That would really speak volumes if I were looking for a reputable breeder. Hopefully some of those posters will come reply, although many have since stopped coming to YT (which is so sad imo). |

I gotta third Susan78's and skellington's recommendation of Deb Sillers and Amazing Yorkies. My pup Cookie that I got from her is so sweet, active, well-mannered around people, and was in perfect health when I had my vet look her over a couple of weeks ago. Cookie was my new best friend by the end of Day 1 and has brought so much joy into my life; it has truly been an Amazing four weeks since I got her! I can't possibly recommend Deb and her pups enough. Cookie is everything we wanted in our next yorkie when we got her: healthy, smart, athletic, funny, smartassish, loving, and beautiful. |

But it's rather confusing for me, though, because some seemingly very well respected and recommended breeders here on YT aren't on the list? There are SO many lists and clubs and directories and threads and websites and personal opinions... I'm getting soooo confuzzled!:eek::aimeeyork |
