I sent Tammy an email this week and she hasn't responded. I know she lost her daughter earlier this year and don't want to press. Any thoughts or help in getting in touch with her. Thanks, Rhonda from NC |
I read your post and I have been trying to reach Tammie Ford for several days. Is she difficult to reach? How long did you have to wait for your puppy? Any info will be greatly appreciated. I have heard great things about her and I realize it may take some time to get a puppy. Pet quality is really what I want. Would love your help. Thanks, Rhonda Butler, Durham NC. |

I got my Chance from Tammy back in Feb. I would go to her website and there is a link to email her if you are intrested in getting a pup. I was on her waiting list for a while but I was not in a big hurry. She may have not responded because she could be out of town showing. But when I emailed her I told her alot about myself and my family and told her that I was intrested in getting a pup. Good Luck! |
Stonewall Ranch www.Stonewallranch.homestead.com August 2005 I chose to buy a puppy from Wanda, because she is knowledgable about yorkies, takes good care of them and I loved the little girl she had available. Her prices are reasonable. My little girl is healthy and has a wonderful personality |
I bought two of my five yorkies in Godley, TX south of Ft Worth. I bought two more at other breeders in that area or rather within 150 miles of there. I would not rec them although my babies are wonderful! I have heard plenty of complaints on them since I purchased mine. The lady in Godley is Gloria Walsh and her number is 817-917-8156. I would never buy from anyone but her. That is how much I respect and think of her, her family and her furfamily. Now with two elder dogs, 5 yorkies and a himmy persian cat....I don't think I will be buying more any time soon! By the way, my 5th yorkie, I rescued at a year old and she is now 6 1/2 and a whopping 12 pounds and my BIG baby girl! |
For those of you looking closer to South TX I do know of a lady on YT named Kim in Victoria, TX and although I have not seen her pups, I have heard nothing but good things for two years. I don't know Kim's last name or number. Also I bathe and comb my babies BUT when it comes time for pro grooming, I drive 90 miles to Victoria, to get them groomed by Paula Wells. She also raises yorkies but I have only seen her moms and dads and they are awesome! I was just there last weekend and she has a litter due in about two more weeks. She is an wonderful lady and has been raising dogs for 45 years! |
OOPS! Sorry Paula's number is 361-578-5839. If you should talk to her or Gloria tell them you got their info from Chlois. Good luck to all of you looking for new babies! |
1. Linda Steele, Garlin Yorkies, Ohio 2. www.garlinyorkies.info 3. 2006 4. I chose Linda because she was close to me and I love her yorkies. She is such a wonderful woman who really cares about all of her yorkies. She is always honest with you and you can tell how much she loves her babies. I got Destiny aka Charity from her. She is such a doll and I am so glad and forever grateful to Linda for letting me have this precious baby. All of her yorkies are beautiful and they all have such wonderful and great dispositions. They will crawl in your lap and give you lots of kisses. It is hard leaving Linda's because you fall in love with all of them right away. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a healthy adorable yorkie baby to spoil and love. It was a wonderful experience and I plan on getting another yorkie from her someday.  |

I got my Hope from Linda because she was the most compassionate person I met while searching for MONTHS! I fell totally in Love with Hope when I first saw the litter and just knew I had to find a way to get her. I knew Linda was a super Yorkie mom when my Hope cried for her when she left us at the airport... it took a good two days for Hope to adjust and become attached to me.. she truly missed her "Mommy Linda". Hope is a BEAUTIFUL puppy and it was obvious she was in perfect health! d |
The BEST breeder in Texas! 1. Pat Estes, Estes Yorkies, Frisco, TX 2. http://www.breeders.net/breeder/145310 3. Manolo was born Dec. 23, 2005 4. Hands down, this is the cleanest, most professional breeder in all of North Texas. Manolo is my second yorkie, I will tell you guys about my first yorkie breeder experience in the "bad" section. After having a horrible experience with my first one, I really did my research in buying my second yorkie. Honestly, I don't know where to begin in telling you how wonderful it was buying my baby this time. Pat Estes is a very modest breeder. He does not really breed for money, he and his wife only own 5 yorkies total. When I went to his website I was blown away at how beautiful his yorkies are. A beautiful coat was one of my top priorities, and when I saw the parents of my future puppy I knew I would be happy. I was also very concerned with size. I wanted the smallest dog I could get without worrying about health problems. I originally went to Pat's house just to visit the parents. I was beyond impressed. It was one of the cleanest houses I have ever stepped foot into, and there was not a kennel or crate in sight. His dogs had a big backyard of mowed grass to run around on, and they stayed in the kitchen with a child gate up when un supervised indoors. These dogs were well groomed, happy, and healthy. Pat and his wife are from Brazil, and so are their dogs. In fact, my dog's father is the champion show dog of South America. They are very laid back people and just want their dogs to go to happy homes. Manolo's dad, Harley, was very rambunctious and playful. His mom was calm and liked to cuddle up with you. I immediately put a deposit down for a male in the next litter. Pat called me every few weeks to update me on the pregnancy, and even called me the day they were born! I was involved in the whole process. I visited the dogs every few weeks. I saw the puppies at four weeks old, six weeks old, and finally took one home at 8 weeks old. I received a DNA test with my puppy to assure that the mother and father's lines had never crossed. I also received AKC paperwork. My puppy already knew me well because I had been there from the day he was born! Pat gave me the option of docking or not docking the tail, as it is not customary in other countries. When I took my dog to the vet for his one day checkup, my vet said she had never seen a healthier more beautiful yorkie! She even got his number and wanted to buy one from him. He is definitely show dog quality, and well worth the 1,200.00 dollars. Manolo is full grown at 2lbs. and in perfect health. |

Has your vet done any blood work? I had a puppy with similar symptoms and it turned out that she had a virus similar to food poisioning that was contracted from the feces of infected animals (not Parvo). With some antibiotics and fluid drip she was fine, but it was a scary situation. |
Hi, I have been searching the forum on and off for a bit trying to locate a breeder in or around Massachusetts. I have been to a few and found a couple of great breeders. Just one problem, one has you chose the pup at a young age, 5 weeks or so and the other I am on a lengthy waiting list. Does anyone have any recommendations? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you |
