What we do know is that it wasn't what any dog deserves, period.

Teresa afforded her the life, love and health care she deserved. I realize anesthesia is always risky...of course I know that by now. But the cards, IMHO the chips were stacked against this poor pup because of the breeding practices/adoption practices of this GREEDER. Sending a dog like Bonnie to the US for breeding is abuse in of itself, in my book.

Thank you Teresa for doing all you did for her, I so wish she could have had more time to enjoy running into your loving arms...may she rest in peace.

Just to clarify: She had both eyes when she was shipped to the US. It was at some point with the initial buyer here that she lost her eye.

Again, I stand by my stance based on the information provided on this breeders website, google searches, YT information etc., this is an unethical breeder who needs to refine his skills at placing pups in addition to a host of other practices that are very sub-par. Because this breeder is dealing with folks overseas he needs to be extra particular and tenacious. He is not.

Apparently all the information regarding Bonnie is coming from many sources and all I can rely on is what I have found from MY OWN research and what I have been told. Clearly, admittedly, not all the information "hearsay" has been 100% accurate, but regardless; Bonnies' story is still tragic....The breeder has a hand in it as well.

Teresa, who lovingly cared for this pup and ultimately lost this pup has suffered immensely as did Bonnie. In order for this thread to stay on course and with the original intention of reviewing the breeder...and so as not to drag poor defenseless Bonnie into any arguments I am asking for this thread to be closed.

Rest in peace Bonnie and thank you Teresa, again, for taking such loving care of this poor forsaken pup...

TeresaM, I am so very sorry for your loss of Bonnie. You seem to be such a caring person and I know the pain of losing Bonnie so unexpectedly is ripping your heart apart.

Sometimes we have to deal with these blows, and never know exactly what happened. I send you thoughts and prayers of comfort as you deal with this, and commend you for all the love you gave Bonnie to give her the best life possible, and in preserving some good memories of her.

I do not see how the other poster's attack on the breeder can be of any help to you in this time of grief. Your confidence in your vet is well placed, and sometimes there is no answer and we have to accept that. Rest in peace sweet Bonnie. Hugs to you TeresaM.
